January 2016 we were approached by BBC filming crew, who asked if they could use our shop to film Frank skinner on demand. Of course we couldn't turn     this fantastic opportunity down.

 

Frank Skinner who is a comedian, TV and radio presenter and actor arrived on the morning, chauffeur driven along with Nadiya Hussain who was also chauffeur driven. Nadiya is a British baker who won The Great British Bake Off in 2015, columnist, author and television presenter.

They spent the whole morning with us. The shop was completely taken over by the filming crew, makeup artist and many more people. Frank and Nadiya had their makeup and hair done at the back of the shop on the morning.

They are both such genuine people who are so down to earth. Nadiya brought some of her very own homemade fudge which was delicious. Nadiya took some cakes home for her family and later tweeted on twitter about the chocolate toothpaste and cornflake tart.
